Ok, I have planned my lesson. Hopefully it will coincide with everyone else's lessons, but if not I can definitely make changes. I will be concentrating on the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
ReplyDeleteDuring my 90 minutes, the class will:
1.Watch documentary "The Origin of AIDS", with supplemental questions.
2.Short class discussion.
3.Online activity "Mapping the Global HIV/AIDS Epidemic" with supplemental questions.
4.Short class discussion.
5.Cooperative Learning activity. Students will create a "Plan of Action" for HIV/AIDS prevention in their school and community.
